Patrick B. Johnston is a Senior Political Scientist at the RAND Corporation. Prior to RAND, he was a fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University. His research interests include insurgency, terrorism, intelligence, threat finance, and development.
